Numerous photographic galleries, museums and collections, and – not to forget – the photographers of the city have lifted the kudos of photography significantly during previous years. It is an environment that is ideal for the first Monochrom® shop gallery.
A lot can certainly be comprehended and taken in by browsing through this catalogue. But even in this digital age, products can be appreciated far better if they can be seen three-dimensionally and also be handled. The flicking through catalogue pages cannot always replace the actual viewing, especially where it concerns products that will preserve your prints, presentation items that will form the basis for the success of photographers, loupes and screens which encourage actual viewing and scanners that are just waiting to be tried out.

Since November 2002, our shop gallery has been situated in Berlin Mitte. An area where political decisions are being made and photographers, photo galleries and museums are clustered like nowhere else in the republic. More than the over 2000 most popular catalogue items await you as well as a fantastic range of Halbe magnetic picture frames and presentations folders, which exceed even the items offered in the catalogue. You can certainly order items not in stock and save the delivery costs by picking up the items yourself. You can also order products if you just want to have a first look at them. We cut mounts to your specifications and can also order custom sized picture frames from the Halbe range. Since the shop area has doubled in November 2005 to three levels, we have now also a printing studio, which enables us to create prints for you (“we frame your files”). New is also a classic black and white demonstration darkroom. Then there are our new book corner and a new seminar room where we conduct our workshops and theme days. But you can also just drop in to view the images in our gallery or to browse through our magazines. Either way, you are very welcome!
