You have until 1 September 2009 to email us your image or post us a paper print (max A4) taken with the Subjektiv. It doesn’t matter if you use the pinhole, zone plate, single or triple lenses or the acrylic lens. If you email us, the image can be at a low resolution (min 640px), but it is important to have a large resolution file available for later use of the competition (exhibition, presentation of winning images, press releases etc). So that everybody can see the competition grow we will upload all entries directly to the Subjektiv gallery. All current published images will also take part in the competition. Together with the entry of your image we require your complete address, telephone number and email address. And please tell us which Subjektiv lens module you have used for your image. Every entrant must posses full copyright over their images. Images will be made available to Mono-C GmbH free of charge for publication only as part of the competition.
The jury (made up of several art price recipients) will make a decision in September. The winner will receive a Monochrom® gift voucher of €500. The second price is a €300 voucher, the third price a €100 voucher. A competition is a perfect opportunity to introduce you to the Subjektiv via a loaning initiative. You will be able to borrow a Subjektiv for a few hours, provided you leave a deposit, at the Festival ‘Horizonte’ in Zingst, from 4 to 7 June. The second opportunity is for a three-day span during the summer holidays in Berlin from 15 July to 28 August in our Ackerstrasse shop gallery. In the name of a subjective summer.
